A Joe Dambrosio bibliography and a call for help
I admire Joe Dambrosio's work and donated a collection of his books to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. I am now trying to put together a bibliography in order to honor him. There may be errors on what I listed and items that I don't know about. I am asking for help to make it more complete.
Check the website out at:
joedambrosiobookartist.com
It has a link to the complete list of his work that I am aware of.
I have divided his work into six categories:
1: Books that he did the primary work on.
2: Books, he did boxes, bindings and slip cases for.
3: Art, broadsides, and posters.
4: Keepsakes DVDs, and CDs
5: Artist’s Books Reviews
6: Ephemera.
There are many one of the kind items that he did and he has not included pictures of them in his work. If you have a unique item, I would like to obtain a picture of it, its size and any notation he made within it.
There are some works of art that I have not seen and would like to obtain an image of them and the size. He lists works called Madonna and Viva Pablito. He also did paintings of some of the Zarathustra art. I would like to obtain more information about them.
I have seen several Christmas cards and assume he did more holiday cards that I have listed. If you have one that is not listed, could you please share a photo of that with me and it size.
I hope you enjoy the bibliography,
Thank You for your help,
William Ashley
